Facade is reminiscent of a subtle force. A guardian like sculpture, it draws from the stone faces of Easter Island as a point of departure and is a reinterpretation of these monumental relics.
When Europeans first visited the island the statues gazed inland across their clan territories but most were destroyed during later conflicts between tribes. Many of these statues have defied the forces of nature and still stand to this day, in defiance of time. They stand as guardians and protectors.
